Three homes, and nobody in between

How it started

It began with one house in IJsselstein that stood empty more often than we liked. Rather than sell it we started renting it out — first through Airbnb, where it now holds a 4.83 out of 5.

The two homes on the Costa Blanca followed: an apartment with a generous sun terrace in Los Altos, and a renovated quad villa with sea views near Los Dolses. Both the sort of place where you can still eat outside in November.

Why book direct

On the large platforms a guest quickly pays fifteen percent in service fees, and we hand over a cut at the other end as well. That money goes to a company that has never set foot in the house.

Hence this site. The same homes, the same calendar, without that layer in between. What you see here is what you pay: rent, cleaning, and a deposit you get back.

What you do not get is an anonymous help desk. You email us. That sometimes means waiting a few hours for a reply, but it is a reply from someone who knows which kitchen drawer sticks.

How we keep track

Every booking — from this site, from Airbnb, from the agency in Spain — lands in one calendar. The calendar on this site reads straight from it.

That is not just tidy bookkeeping: it is why you cannot request a period here that is in fact already taken. A double booking is the worst thing that can happen to a guest, and this is the only way to be sure it does not.

What you can expect from us

Photos that match what you find. A home that is clean when you arrive. And if something is broken, that we fix it rather than sit it out until you leave.

If something does go wrong, tell us while you are still there. Afterwards there is nothing we can do, and that is a poor ending for everyone.
