The roof terrace is where your evenings end up. From there you look out over the neighbourhood to the sea, and there are loungers for the daytime. Downstairs there is another balcony in the sun, plus a private terrace off the living room.

Los Dolses sits centrally on the Orihuela Costa, between the Villamartín golf courses and the coast. It is a residential area rather than a tourist strip, so evenings are quiet — but everything you came for is five to ten minutes away.

La Zenia Boulevard is close enough, at five minutes by car, that you will pop over for a single item. It is the largest shopping centre in the region, with a few hundred shops and enough places to eat to make an evening of it.

Villamartín Plaza is the other place to go out: a square full of restaurants and bars around the golf course, five to seven minutes away. You sit outside there until it cools down, which in summer means late.

Padel is close to a local sport here. The courts are eight minutes' walk away, so you do not need the car for an hour's game in the morning. For golf you can choose within twenty minutes between Villamartín, Las Ramblas, Campoamor and Las Colinas.

The beach is six to eight minutes by car. Seven coves between Punta Prima and Cabo Roig, from wide sandy stretches with loungers to rocky inlets where a towel is all that will fit.
